Cameraless Photography
This series is an ongoing exploration of experimental cameraless photography. Without a traditional camera or lens, these images are made by intuitively placing objects directly onto the surfaces of light-sensitive materials and exposing their surfaces to light.
Each cameraless print is a unique object. Unlike most traditional photography, these images cannot be duplicated or reproduced without copying or photographing the original.
The processes I experiment with the most, depicted here, are lumen printing, photogram, and cyanotype.
